Lino Sans

36 Days of Type

Handcrafted typeface

36 Days of Type is a creative initiative calling upon designers, illustrators and visual artists to craft a unique set of 36 glyphs depicting the Latin alphabet. Each participant is challenged to design a letter or number daily, aligning with the assigned character of the day.

The approach taken for this was through a relief printing technique called Linocut, which involves carving a design into linoleum that can then be used for printing.
